The University of Iowa is adding more hydration stations around campus.

Hydration stations are water fountains that filter water and are designed to fill water bottles. They also have an electronic display showing the estimated number of disposable plastic bottles saved by people using the hydration station. For instance, the hydration station in UI’s Rienow Hall has saved an estimated 21,000 bottles.

The new locations for the hydration stations include the new art and music buildings and the Main Library.
