Iowa edges Nebraska for “Next-generation” Dupont Ethanol Plant

Iowa edged Nebraska on Wednesday for a ethanol plant to be built by DuPont that would use corncobs, leaves and stalks as feedstock rather than corn, the Des Moines Register reports.

The plant will be built in Webster or Story County and will join a proposed Poet facility at Emmetsburg as Iowa’s two “next-generation” refineries. Continue reading
