CGRER member Larry Weber spoke with the Iowa Environmental Focus earlier this week about his recent research and his work as director of IIHR-Hydroscience & Engineering at the University of Iowa. Dr. Weber – who also serves as a professor in the College of Engineering – earned his B.S., M.S., and PhD in civil and environmental engineering from the UI. In addition to his work with the UI he also serves as an investigator for the Intensively Managed Landscapes (Midwestern) region of the Critical Zone Observatory, a research collaborative funded by the National Science Foundation.
