
In early September it was announced that a large Egyptian-owned fertilizer company was going to construct a plant in southeast Iowa. Bringing the company to Iowa is the highest incentivized project in state history.
Residents living near where the fertilizer plant will be built are worried about the potential air pollution from the plant.
A larger than expected number of local residents showed up to an air quality meeting in Burlington, Iowa last Wednesday to voice their concerns.
